Minimum Manning Legislation Signed Into Law By Governor Pat Quinn On January 7, 2015

As previously reported, House Bill 5485 passed in both legislative chambers on November 20, 2014. On January 7, 2015, Governor Pat Quinn signed House Bill 5485 into law. The bill takes effect immediately. As of this date, minimum manning is now a mandatory subject of bargaining in fire departments in Illinois.
